    The service is available after a referral from a number of possible routes. All referrals come to a single point of entry into the mental health service. At this point you could receive support from one or more of the mental health teams.

    Reablement

    This service helps people to deal with personal circumstances that may be causing mental distress. This service provides practical, emotional and social support to people in order to promote independence. This service is provided to people in their own homes or in community settings.

    Local Mental Health Services, GPs, Local adult health and social care teams and B&NES Talking Therapies Service

You will leave the session feeling invigorated, exercised both physically and mentally, having had an enjoyable social experience with like-minded people. Familiar music from the 60s and 70s right up to modern day has everyone moving in no time! The sessions are a mix of standing and seated exercises, movement to music and include some dance. Balance and strengthening exercises are incorporated and apparatus is also used including Therabands (resistance bands), light hand weights, squishy balls and scarves. Every session is followed by social time with tea/coffee and (maybe) some biscuits!
